| Monday June 30, 2008: Today we made careful observational drawings and took measurements of a living organism from our classroom pond. Several of the organisms inside were collected by campers from the small muddy stream behind Park's pond field. |

| Tuesday, July 1, 2008: Today we were invited to join Real World Science for a presentation from the Boston Police Department's Crime Investigation Officers. We also ran some time trials with the crayfish and tried to make them maneuver through a race track for the 20 cm dash. Wednesday July 2, 2008: Today we walked over to Lars Anderson Park to investigate the pond life and compare it to the artificial pond we created in our classroom. Unfortunately when we got there we discovered that the pond water had been treated with chemicals and we weren't allowed to touch the water. We were still able to remove some small organisms with our pipettes and also a few large Japanese Mystery Snails. |
